Professional Title and Admission to the Bar

The professional title the German lawyers appearing on this website is Rechtsanwalt.

They are members of the Berlin Bar Association (Rechtsanwaltskammer Berlin) and have been admitted to all German Local Courts (Amtsgerichte), Regional Courts (Landgerichte) as well as the High Courts and Courts of Appeal (Oberlandesgerichte).

They are subject to a set of professional rules which can be found on the website of the German Federal Bar Association (Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer). These rules include the Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung (BRAO), the Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz (RVG) and the Berufsordnung der Rechtsanwälte (BORA).
